Every year, we receive more and more grant applications from people working to eradicate bullying and its negative effects.
We fund 45% of the organisations that apply, with an average grant of £5,500. We want to support many more, and that’s why we need you.
Between one-third and one-half of children and young people in the UK say they have experienced bullying, including cyberbullying—which is on the increase. People who are lesbian, gay or bisexual are even more likely to be bullied. Although we often associate bullying with children, adults are not immune from it—especially in the workplace.
Here are some ways you can support the Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation:
Volunteering
We are always on the lookout for people who can support the projects, initiatives and events that we run at the Foundation. Professional skills, such as communications, marketing, fundraising, IT, are always of great interest to us.

Our corporate partners have been instrumental in our ability to support anti-bullying initiatives.
If you want to get involved as a company you can help eliminate bullying of all forms, while at the same time meeting your own Corporate Social Responsibility objectives.
We work in collaboration with these supporters who have in many cases launched ground-breaking initiatives in the work place to combat bullying.
As a Foundation, StandUp raises funds to support a number of organisations and initiatives that tackle bullying. We are a conduit through which our corporate partners can support a diverse group of organisations and initiatives all working in the bullying space. Ben Cohen, StandUp’s Founder, is passionate about helping you to increase the engagement of employees, clients, customers and partners in your CSR initiatives and supporting anti bullying initiatives in many different contexts.

Our developing partnership with one of the Worlds top 10 largest multinational Banks, Barclays, is a prime example of the support we can offer.
We work with Barclays to support their global LGBT network and ally programme, Barclays Spectrum, and the launch of new campaigns in the UK focused on equality in the workplace.
The programme of support includes a number of practical and exciting opportunities, which enables the company to engage with employees, clients and customers around core values. Included within this is the launch of a new Ally campaign and practical initiatives to educate on how to be an Ally and to create a welcoming and accepting business environment.
Further, Barclays Spectrum supports our increasing network of charities to share knowledge and expertise to improve effectiveness of individual charities, who are historically limited through resource and funds.
